When you seal a heater to keep water out, you&amp;rsquo;re also trapping the air inside.&#xA;Since the lamp can&amp;rsquo;t &amp;ldquo;breathe&amp;rdquo; as easily as an open-air fixture, the internal temperature climbs. Be careful with your wattage specs.
