A technician can slide out the broken part and pop in a new one in about ten minutes. Since we keep the footprints the same, the new piece just clicks right into place. No guesswork, no fuss.
Dealing with the Heat
To get rid of that annoying fog on your mirror quickly, you need a lot of heat concentrated in a small space. It’s the only way to really penetrate the glass backing. But here’s the catch: that much heat can melt cheap materials. If you use low-grade plastic for the housing, your mirror frame will start to warp and look wavy over time. That’s why we use high-temp polymers. It keeps everything straight and sturdy, even when the heater is working overtime.
The Reality of Wear and Tear
The truth is, no heating element lasts forever. Eventually, the filament just gets tired and snaps. It happens. By moving to a modular setup, we’ve changed the conversation. It’s no longer about “replacing the whole system”—it’s just a quick component swap. You keep your frame, you keep your wiring, and you only replace the part that actually wore out. It’s the only way to make sure your mirror actually lasts a decade without turning a simple electrical fix into a weekend-long construction project.
